| Mr. Karston’s work experience is diverse and his responsibilities have included forensic/field investigations, condition assessments, analysis/design, and construction/permit document preparations. Mr. Karston has design experience using a broad range of materials including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and light gage framing. He has developed excellent communication skills through interaction with a wide variety of contractors, architects, private, corporate, and municipal clients, and related consultants.
Mr. Karston’s project experience has included institutional, office, retail, commercial, and residential projects. Projects have involved new construction, modifications to existing structures including historic buildings, and design of field repairs. Design simplification, constructability, and cost effectiveness are qualities that can be found in Mr. Karston’s structural design. |
