| PROFILE : |
| Mr. Karston is responsible for the structural design of new construction, adaptive reuse, façade, and renovation projects and for construction administration services such as shop drawing review and field observations with written reports. He is responsible for performing forensic/field investigations, property condition assessments, analysis/design, and construction/permit document preparations. The projects he designs have included residential (apartments, condominiums, and single family homes/townhomes), office, warehouse, restaurant, industrial, institutional, and retail buildings and components thereof. Mr. Karston has design experience using a broad range of materials including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and light gage framing. He prepares design calculations and construction specifications and has performed peer reviews of structural design work completed by out-of–state engineering firms. He provides expert opinion reports and has acted as an expert witness when requested. |
